The Top 5 Things to Do at IASA 2017

The Insurance Accounting and Systems Association’s (IASA) 2017 Annual Educational Conference is June 4-7 at the Orlando World Center Marriott in Orlando, Florida.

With over 80 educational sessions, exclusive executive roundtables, 200 exhibitors, and a host of educational and networking opportunities, there is a lot to do at IASA. Here are the top 5 things Clearwater attendees think you can’t miss at this year’s conference.

1. Attend the Regulator Town Hall

Wednesday, June 7, 9:45 – 11:15 a.m.

This new session is an open forum format that provides a space to discuss ever-changing regulations and reporting requirements with industry experts. Attendees will have the opportunity to talk with state examiners and NAIC staff and ask regulatory questions, seek clarification on new guidance, and discover where experts see new regulation focusing in the future.

2. Join Clearwater at the House of Blues in Disney Springs

Monday, June 5, 6:00 – 9:00 p.m.

You’re invited to Clearwater’s conference reception! Join your peers for an evening of music, appetizers, and refreshments at the House of Blues in Disney Springs with music by Blues Brothers tribute band, the Jake and Elwood Blues Revue. This is an all-ages event, and guests are welcome to attend.

4. Attend the Accounting, Risk Management, and Finance Super Session

Monday, June 5, 3:30 – 5:30 p.m.

This Super Session, titled Emerging Technologies Changing the Face of Risk, will consider how the insurance industry can prepare for and manage the risks associated with emerging issues.
